Naama bay shopping market
This video is shot during a trip to Sharm El
Sheikh in July 2010. The video shows a Khan El
Khalily style market in Naama bay where tourists
can buy souvenirs and other Egyptian and Bidwin
products like jewelry, statues, papyrus and
Egyptian style clothes. People usually walk
through the market and examine the items before
making a purchase. Haggling is a common way of
getting a better price although it does not
guarantee that you will get the lowest price you
think of.
Some women's accessories are made of local
materials like shells, stones and others are
manufactured in Cairo to be sold in Sharm El
Sheikh.
Alf Laila Wal Laila An entertainment
place that has a theatre where shows runs every
day. The show includes Egyptian belly dancing
and other folklore dances like the Tannora dance
that is shown in this video. This dance is
performed by male dancers and requires a high
degree of skill and training to do.
The show starts at 11:00PM but you can enjoy
shopping while you are there. There also cafes
and restaurants as well as nice exhibits that
you can take photos near them.
The show lasts for a few hours until late but
you can leave at any time you desire. Entry
tickets are bought at the entrance and doesn't
include food or drinks.
Dolphina - Sharm El Sheikh
A Dolphin park where a daily show is performed
by two trained dolphins with their trainers in
Umm El Sid Hadaba area. The show lasts an hour
and contains many acts that reflects the skills
of dolphins. At the end of the show people can
takes photos with the dolphins.
The dolphin park contains a souvenir shop and a
small cafeteria and a monkey cage to amuse
children.

Dancing fountain
Part of the sound and light show in Alf Laila wa
Laila. Kids will certainly love to watch this
show especially the fountain that dances on
music. Don't forget to bring a video cam with
you to record this beautiful show. You may
notice the great decor of ancient Egyptian
temples, Pyramids and Sphinx in the background.
Submarine
The submarine in Sharm El Sheikh is a special
kind of boat with a glass under sea cabin where
passengers can see the fish and other sea
creatures from where they sit without the need
for diving or snorkeling. This is a great
experience if you haven't been under water
before. This video is recorder in Naama bay in
the summer of 2011.
